Most of the children that are taken from their homes to be put in the care of foster parents are taken on the spur of the moment. They have no time to pack their belongings or special items. They have no suitcase or bag to carry their things. Most have to be packed in a paper bag or trash bag. Most are moved from foster home to foster home several times.
We want to help make their transition a little bit easier. Our goal is to provide each new foster child with a personalized bag to carry their items so they can have something just a little special and to stock community foster closets with needed health and hygiene products.
The founding goal of the Future Hope Foundation is to provide a personalized piece of luggage & health and hygiene products needed for as many foster children in the state of Georgia as possible. We have been fortunate enough to expand from this goal, when possible, due to the generosity of donations like yours, to meet other needs of foster children.
Some of our other proudest accomplishments have been providing educational scholarships, gifts of hundreds of bicycles and other sports equipment, clothes/shoes and fun days for children in the foster system.
100% of monies received through donations goes to support local foster children.
How we have been helping.
Providing personalized luggage, yearly birthday and Christmas gifts & bicycles for approximately 600+ foster children. We have assisted foster families with personalized luggage, emergency expenses, home modifications, purchasing Christmas gifts for foster children & group homes, educational scholarships and stocking foster closets with personal health and wellness needs.
Also providing items off many children's personal wish lists.
